Create a golf club listing with accurate handedness, model and shaft details, clear face photographs and a precise inventory of clubs and accessories.

A golf bag full of clubs can hide important differences in models, shafts and handedness. Before listing it, take the clubs out and record what you have. Buyers need a clear inventory rather than a promise that the set will improve their game.

List each club in the offer

Give the brand, model and club number or loft where marked. State whether the clubs are left-handed or right-handed. For an iron set, list the included irons and wedges rather than assuming the word “set” establishes a standard count.

Describe shaft material and flex from the markings you can verify. Note known alterations such as extensions or replacement shafts. If you do not know the playing length or modification history, say so instead of claiming standard specification.

Photograph faces, soles and grips

Show the clubheads from several angles and add useful close-ups of wear. Describe dents, damaged grips, rust, rattles or loose components. A bright photograph of the top of a driver does not show the face or sole condition.

Avoid removing stickers or markings that help identify the model. Do not claim authenticity or a professional fitting history without a basis for it. If specialist verification is important, agree an appropriate inspection rather than offering an unsupported guarantee.

Separate accessories from club value

List the bag, headcovers, trolley and other items included. Explain whether covers match the clubs and whether trolley components are complete. If a battery-powered trolley is part of the sale, describe its battery and charger separately and only state functions you have tested.

Compare like-for-like models and condition. A mixed set with older shafts is not directly equivalent to a matching set with recent replacements. Do not use a premium retail package as the sole reference for your private asking price.

Give the buyer a useful viewing

Allow time to inspect the markings and condition. Do not imply that a viewing automatically includes a chance to hit balls unless that has been arranged at a suitable location. Confirm the payment and agreed inventory before handover.

Update the ad when clubs are sold individually so the remaining package stays accurate. Advertise your golf clubs and read handling offers for a way to keep negotiations clear.
