Using the marketplace

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a lawful transaction to create an account or advertise. Keep your account details accurate and your password secure. Do not impersonate another person or create ads without authority.

Your ads

You are responsible for your ads, photos, descriptions and messages. Advertise only lawful goods, property, services or jobs you are authorised to offer. Describe condition, defects, price and seller status accurately. Business sellers must identify themselves as businesses and comply with applicable requirements. Do not post scams, duplicate spam, misleading offers or discriminatory content.

Prohibited content

• Stolen goods, illegal goods, controlled substances and counterfeit items.
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives and hazardous materials.
• Live animals, financial products, adult services and regulated medicines.
• Personal data, offensive or abusive content, and deceptive payment links.
• Tickets offered in breach of applicable rules, illegal employment offers, or property ads you are not authorised to publish.

Transactions and fees

Ordinary ads are free to publish. Transactions take place directly between buyer and seller. ClassifiedAds.ie does not receive or protect purchase payments, arrange delivery, verify ownership or guarantee an item. Any agreement, payment, collection, delivery or dispute is between the parties. Statutory rights and responsibilities that apply to your transaction remain unaffected.

Moderation

You may report a listing from its ad page, report an incoming message in Messages, block a member you have messaged, or email support. We may investigate reports and remove content that breaches these terms or applicable law. You can contact support to question a moderation decision. We do not claim that all ads or sellers have been verified.

Privacy and your account

Our privacy notice explains how personal information is handled. You can edit, mark sold or remove your ads from your account. Contact support from your account email for account access or deletion requests.

Changes and service

We may update these terms or change the service. We will publish material changes here with an updated effective date. Use the contact email above for questions. These terms do not exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
