When selling a tumble dryer in Ireland, identify the model and dryer type before writing the ad. A vented dryer and a condenser or heat-pump model can require different arrangements in the buyer's home. Give verified product information rather than describing every machine as suitable for any room.

Confirm the model and configuration

Use the product label and manual to establish the exact model. Record the actual dimensions and state any capacity shown in the verified specification. Identify the dryer type from reliable product information, not just whether you remember emptying a water container.

List the accessories included with the sale, such as an appropriate hose, container or separately supplied fittings. A stacking kit is not automatically part of the appliance, and compatibility needs its own verification. Photograph the actual parts rather than adding a list copied from a retailer's new-product package.

Show maintenance and current condition

Follow the manufacturer's cleaning guidance for user-serviceable filters and accessible parts. Describe routine care accurately without claiming a professional service you did not obtain. Keep any genuine service records, with private details removed from public photographs.

Show the drum, door, controls and visible wear. Disclose noise, errors, damaged parts, drying problems and intermittent faults. A damaged or suspect machine should not be presented as an ordinary ready-to-use appliance simply because the drum turns.

Check recalls before publishing

Look up the exact product in CCPC product safety information and follow applicable manufacturer or recall instructions. Do not assume that your machine is unaffected because another dryer from the same brand was fine.

Explain your last ordinary use and its limits. Avoid claims about electrical safety, energy bills or future running costs that you cannot establish. If a buyer wants current energy information, point them to the correct model documentation rather than a label from a similar dryer.

Agree a manageable collection

Consult the instructions for moving the unit, emptying any required container and securing components. Explain the route out, steps and whether professional disconnection or other preparation remains necessary. The buyer should know what transport and help they need before arriving.

Compare prices for the same dryer type and condition. Factor missing accessories into your description and asking price rather than expecting a buyer to discover them during loading.

Use the collection checklist to agree timing, then place your dryer ad. If you are also selling a washing machine, link the separate offers clearly and say whether they can be purchased individually.
