A stand mixer may look like a complete kitchen setup while an important beater or bowl is missing. Identify the actual machine and lay out the included parts before writing the ad. Buyers need to compare the offer with their intended use, not with a photograph of everything the brand has ever sold.

Start with the machine's identity

Find the model information on the appliance and use verified documentation for its specification. Describe the configuration accurately, including bowl arrangement and any attachment hub. Do not assume every accessory from the same brand fits every version.

Measure the appliance if countertop space or collection is likely to matter. For bowl capacity, rely on the correct specification rather than filling it and estimating. Record whether the bowl is original, a compatible replacement you can identify or an item whose compatibility is uncertain.

Count the accessories individually

Photograph the bowl, whisk, paddle, dough hook, guard and other included pieces together. Use the correct names where you know them. A photograph of an optional mincer or pasta attachment should not imply it is included if it has a separate price.

Explain cracks, worn coatings, bent components and missing locking parts. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when cleaning; do not assume every attachment can go into a dishwasher. Keep parts dry before packing them with the motor unit.

Describe operation without overstating it

State when you last used the mixer and what you checked during normal use. Explain speed-control problems, unusual movement, intermittent operation and noise you have noticed. A machine turning at one speed does not establish that it performs normally with every permitted recipe or load.

Do not open the appliance or bypass a guard to make a sale demonstration. If a fault needs assessment, arrange an appropriate check or explain why the machine is not being offered as ready for normal use. Provide genuine service documentation where available.

Set a price for the actual package

Compare the same model with similar accessories and condition. A complete attachment set is a different offer from a bare motor unit. Do not simply add the current new price of every accessory to an old machine's asking price.

Agree whether the buyer can inspect the included pieces before handover. Protect the bowl and attachments separately during transport so they cannot strike the controls. Heavy equipment can still contain easily damaged parts.

Read the bundle-or-separate guide if additional accessories have their own buyers, then list the mixer. Browse kitchen and dining items to see the appropriate section for other kitchen equipment.
